Dr. Colm Kelleher -
National Institute for Discovery Science -
"The apprarent paranormal
aspects of many Bigfoot accounts make many cryptozoologists uncomfortable.
In fact, most Bigfoot
researchers choose to downplay some of the more exotic aspects of their
research.
After all, they believe
that Bigfoot,Yeti, and their assorted cousins are flesh and blood beings
that just
haven't been found yet
( despite 1406 years of contact -- webmaster) . Whenever witnesses discuss
Bigfoot
in connection with
such topics as UFO sightings, or psychic phenomena, cryptozoologists get
understandably
antsy. After all mixing
in a plethora of other weird topics could not only strenghten the hand
of Sasquatch
skeptics, but also
give scientists and journalists another reason to sidestep any serious
examinination of
the Bigfoot mystery."
However, it simply
isn't honest to discard pieces of information (hiding data -
webmaster) that might not
fit a preconceived
idea of "the truth". ( The Hunt for the
Skinwalker, Kelleher & Knapp- 2005 Paraview Pocket Books.)
Comment by webmaster:
I faced this issue back
in 1977 when I started finding ufo reports and alien reports coming from
the same zone
where Bigfoot reports
were coming from, and when I personally began to encounter paranormal events
during
my own Bigfoot research.
I even got reports of Bigfoot WITH ufos, and with aliens. Yet, my associates
kept telling me
then (and still say so
now) that "if we mix these things, we will lose "credibility" and we will
not get scientists
to assist us.
Well, what is the point
of getting anthropologists interested in a fles h and blood Bigfoot
if it really is not normal
flesh and blood?
At some point they see the paranormal aspects and they run screaming from
the lab or research
vehicle, saying "I am
contaminated! Weirdness everywhere!" And they jump ship.
So I said back then, and now, and Dr. Kelleher now says the same:
YOU MUST BE HONEST
The truth is the truth and must not be swept under the rug, as the late Krantz and others have done for years and years.
Over time, physicists,
such as Dr. Fred Allen Wolf, Dr. Michio Kaku, and six others have
entered the issue. Their role is to find out
how these creatures got
here. The new role of anthropologists and primatologists is to study the
issue in terms of exo-biology.
Krantz named me as the main member of the Lunatic Fringe. I am now being joined by many PhDs who share my views.
