Wikipedia is a so-called free encyclopedia on-line. It has many articles
and some of them are fine.
However they have a really
weird policy that anyone, even you, can go there, and EDIT any article
you desire, adding complete
trash or deleting good info. (With a REAL encyclopedia, nobody edits unless
they
have several ACADEMIC
DEGREES in the topic. In Wikipedia, any ten year old kid can change an
entire article,
and often, they do! )
And people edit and re
edit, revert to older versions, all the time, especially with Bigfoot.
It has become a mish-mash
with pedants and newbies
clashing to get their version of what Bigfoot is, or is not, "published".
The Bigfoot page has
perhaps 10,000 hits per
day. You can make sure that some of these visitors get to see the real
info on Bigfoot.
Go look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bigfoot
To see the best version,
click on the tab at the top saying History, and scroll down to version
4:57 pm 23 jan Albert Einstein
and click on that to
view it.
CURENTLY,
all you can change is the Discussion Page, since they froze the main
page to stop intelligent editing.
Just
click on discussion, then add your comments, delete stupid items, and click
on "SAVE" at the bottom. The page for
discussion
is,in effect, a forum.
As an example, these farts
deny that BF is in China or Australia, and they think it is mainly in the
PNW and only
in wilderness. They think
Pyle is a good author! They ignore John Green. And they ignore anything
written by us.
According to "Mongo",
Dr. Stephen Rosen, (ret.) of the Univ. of Md. Anthropology Dept, never
was there, and never
analyzed hairs for us.
We offer the world's best website for photos, http://www.bigfoot.org in
external links, and
jerks like Android79
delete it! "Android79", thinks Loren Coleman is a "highly respected"
(by whom?) researcher!
Restore sanity, enter
the page, and edit, edit, edit. (Avoid provocative comments
in the edit justification
box, but give them hell in the discussion page. These people are basically
drones and morons
who want power without
giving away their real names, in a Kafkaesque and "1984" type environment.
They have no
degrees, no names, and
little judgment.
(You can see an article
on yrs truly, if you click in the search box for Jon-Erik Beckjord,
Founder and President of this website, so they
are worth something,
and in fact, are 34th in Web rankings worldwide.- Wikipedia)
