WHO ARE WE? We are
the Bigfoot Research Project Box 9502,Berkeley,CA 94709 415-289-2277
24/7 Director: Erik Beckjord,BA,MBA plus Board of Advisors
with three PhDs, and one author with BS degree. Membership about 35 persons
in USA. This Bigfoot Internet Museum is part of the BIP.. Director
is also Erik Beckjord.(See photo below). We
know as much as there is to know about Bigfoot without being abducted.

no experience and no brains. We will debate ANY of them, anytime, before
an audience, if travel expenses are paid.
The BIP, the oldest and largest organization of its kind, is assisted
by a virtual community of scientists, journalists, and specialists from
diverse backgrounds. The researchers who compose the BIP are engaged in
projects, including field and laboratory investigations, designed to address
various aspects of the bigfoot phenomenon. As a result of the education
and experience of its members and the quality of their efforts, the BIP
is widely considered as the most credible and respected investigative network
involved in the study of this subject. (avoid imitators)
When compelling evidence is collected by or submitted to the BIP, it
is presented to scientific and forensic specialists for evaluation. The
BIP organizes and reports observations and data and publishes research
material. - On our website and in Bigfoot journals and when possible, in
mainstream journals. Through this process, the BIP steadily improves the
size and scope of its collective expertise.
Those in the organization anticipate that this emphasis on cooperation
and professionalism is not only the most realistic approach to resolving
the mystery, but that it furthers the BIP's long term goal: determining
how these rare and elusive beings need to be protected and
studied after their existence is generally acknowledged by governmental
agencies and the scientific community. Current evidence shows that they
do not need official protection, because it is not possible to harm them.(
However,
novices who are "shooters" should be quashed due to danger to other
people camping or hiking nearby.)
WHO IS E.B. ? He is a
graduate of Tulane University, with Honors in
sociology, and also holds an MBA from Cal
Berkeley. He has taken courses in
zoology and anthropology and physics, as well.
He does not claim to be a scientist, but
acts as a collector, fieldwork and a middle-man to actual scientists who
make final decisions and do analyses of evidence. He has had 24 years of
experience in the BF field, and started in the 70's not too long after
Byrne,Green,and Krantz started. They wrote books and Beckjord is now writing
his, based on 15 years fieldwork and
overall 24 years of research.

WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF
HIM ? If you read the basic books about
Bigfoot, and also watched the Letterman Show, the Lenno Show, CBS Evening
News, NBC Nightly News and CNN, (and not just surfed the Internet) you
would know about him. He is the most popular investigator ever, with the
other
investigators.(ho!) He is sent accolades daily,
by many of them who have net access.
He is presented with cakes, cash, evidence
and virgin daughters of legal age. ;-)
WHY THE ANTAGONISM TO HIM BY a
few "e-mail BFers" ? Because he asks
them to learn to spell and because he suggests new concepts that most
are mentally unable to grasp (see throughout
this site...)but which any kid who
watches the X-FILES can see immediately. Also
because he exposes BAD RESEARCH and HOAXERS, and people with FAKE CREDENTIALS
and
FAKE NAMES. BTW, your webmaster has
met Chris Carter, at a seminar, and passed on
some ideas to him. (No charge). The X-Files
may well be based on actual reality that
we do not have top secret clearance to know
of. Much of fiction DOES COME TRUE,
later. Think of Jules Verne..... no
- that is not ice cream...

BY "E-MAIL BIGFOOT FANS" ? This means we are doing SOMETHING
RIGHT ! The typical newbie bigfoot buff using email has not a clue, and
simply wants to be popular with others who also do not have a clue. People
with advanced ideas, (example, Galileo) are always violently opposed by
average people with limited minds, limited experience, and an inability
to face CHANGE.
